This is Blaise Rustic Cottage done in miniature technique, oil on lumabase, 3 x 5 inches. In Bristol, England Blaise Hamlet is composed of a complex of small cottages around a green. They were built around 1811 for retired employees of Quaker banker and philanthropist John Scandrett Harford, who owned Blaise Castle House. The hamlet was designed by John Nash, master of the Picturesque style.This is Blaise Rustic Cottage which is in Blaise Woods.This miniature painting was done using De Mairo pigments, oil paints, on Luma-Surface.
